Last 20 Topics UpdatedJust for information, Paul said in Oct. 13, 2011 message that Paypal service charge was$0.45. The new service charge which I paid a few days ago was $0.53. Since I chose not to use Amazon payments, I paid the fee instead of Paul and used the price given on Nov. 10, 2011 for Paypal users.
Yes, I'm still have coins for sale. Very busy at work and at home. Hope to spare a few cycles to work on coins soon.
I sent message about ordering coin to Paul but have not received a response. Is he still involved?
Please make sure your e-mail and contact information are correct in your profile, Thanks,
Does Doc know what happened to Jay R Schrand, DS1 who was pretty active on this site at one time?
Challenge Coin Update. There are a number of people who have inquired about purchasing a challenge coin (or two), but have not yet sent in an order. In case the reluctance to order is because of an aversion to PayPal, I now have another option - Amazon Payments. First - send me an email at mailto:pkat1979@gmail.com with your shipping address and the quantity of coins you want (maximum 5). Second - go to https://payments.amazon.com/ and send the money to my email address: mailto:pkat1979@gmail.com. Price is one coin for $8.36, two for $13.68, three for $19.17, four for $24.48, and five for $29.97. Prices are slightly higher for Amazon Payments because they charge me a higher fee.

John, If you scroll further down to 13-Oct-2011, you will see the ordering instructions.
I would be interested in purchasing 4 DS Challenge Coins. Just need to know who and where.
Got all my "A" School book, found them in the attic, Anyone interested in them (Free) Let me know!
New Coin Prices! Since I have sold out of the first batch, whose prices included the costs of having the dies made, and am now starting on the second batch, whose prices do not include die costs, the prices have come down a little. I've starting shipping in boxes, which increased shipping costs a little, so the effect is less for lower quantities (almost none for only one coin). Here are the current prices: one coin for $7.84, two for $13.00, three for $18.34, four for $23.50, and five for $28.84. Some of you who have sent me a recent order (last day or so) at the old prices will get a refund. The second batch was 100 coins. At the current rate of sales, this should last about a month. There are quite a number of you who have inquired about purchasing, but who haven't yet sent me an order. GOYB!
Orders for the DS challenge coins have fallen off quite a bit and I still have significant inventory. Those of you who wanted more than 5 coins initially can now submit an additional order, again for up to five coins.
It seems appropriate that today is the 236th birthday of the U.S. Navy and I received the box of coins. They look great. The following are the prices - which differ a bit from what I said before because the weight of the coins (1.675 oz) are a bit more than I thought and the postage is consequentially higher. I will be sending them first class mail. I am also charging a little for packaging. 1 Coin $7.87, 2 Coins $13.90, 3 Coins $19.94, 4 Coins $26.14, 5 Coins $32.35. Prices are non-linear because postage fees are too. To order, send me an email at mailto:pkat1979@gmail.com with your shipping address and the quantity of coins you want AND go to paypal.com and send the EXACT amount to the same email address. DO NOT select the "Buying Something" option as they will charge me a small fee and that will piss me off as that charge is not accounted for in my pricing. If you do this I will reject your order and refund your money. Pick either "Friends and Family" or "Buying Something with a Cash Advance" this will charge you a $0.45 fee. If you happen to live/work in the Northern Virginia area, near Falls Church or Tyson's, I may be persuaded to meet you somewhere convenient (to me), in which case each coin will be $5.87. Don't bother asking for more than five coins at this time, as I only have 150 and want to be sure I have enough to most people. When I run low, I will order more.
