Over 150 people came to participate in the burial ceremony of the Data Systems Rating.
Guests were invited to sign the register and were asked to be seated.

|
The honor guard solemnly moved the coffin for final preparations.
|
|
Master of Ceremonies, DSCM(SW) Dan McArdle gave the eulogy, which included
the birth, evolution, and eventual disestablishment of the rating.
|
|
|
|
DSCM(SW) McArdle called upon the honor guard to retire the colors and
then presented the flag to the oldest (former or current) Data System Technician present.
