DS1 AJ Williams....Rest in peace

Postby herring on Fri Jan 08, 2016 6:55 pm

I looked an looked on here to see if there was any information regarding this and I did not see anything. I just got a message from Tonys widow, he passed away from a massive heart attack on June 10, 2014. I had to go back through his facebook page to find the date. I found his obituary and am posting the link below.

RIP AJ.

Fyi,
I remember that Frank Burt posted a "in memory of post: for AJ back in June of 2014. viewtopic.php?f=27&t=6825&start=0&st=0&sk=t&sd=a&hilit=following+seas

It would be nice if we could modify the user profiles of those who passed with an "RIP".

thanks for the info Dock, I looked through the forum to see if it was in there. I can move his post. I will see if there is some way to put that info on their profiles.

DocK, I figured out how to do it. I can edit the signature line and put that info, and any other as needed. Check AJs profile.

Hey Rusty, I also just created a custom rank you can assigned to an account.

It's called "Rest in Peace" and will show the status when some looks at their profile.

Here is what AJ's looks like.

Will that work ok? I can make something nicer looking if we want to go with this.

Thank you guys for finally doing this. Last year when AJ's birthday popped up it really shook me up since I know he had passed away the year before. His FB account is still active and many people still acknowledge how much he is missed.
